MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Braves gave up 13 hits tonight as they fall in game one of a three-game weekend series against Memphis, 6-1.
Scoreless through the first two innings, Memphis jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 3rd inning.
After two runs in the bottom of the 5th by the Tigers, the Braves got on the board in the top of the 6th inning. Â With two outs,
Earl Burl III hit a RBI triple to center field to score
Moses Charles.
The last run of the game for the Tigers came in the bottom of the 8th inning. Â
Burl recorded a hit and the only RBI of the game for the Braves while Charles scored the only run and recorded a hit for the Braves.
The Braves and Memphis are back in action tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. from FedEx Park.
