Lorman, MS – Head Coach Montez Robinson's squad continue to roll, winning their fifth straight game, defeating Alabama State 77-72 Monday night.
TAMARCIO WILSON scored 23 points, including three 3-pointers, while
PATRICK ONWENU added 13 points and recorded four assists and four blocks.
Two other Braves scored in double figures. Devonte Hampton added 12 points and
REGINALD JOHNSON scored 11 points.
Alcorn State came out hot in the second half, shooting 71 percent from the field with 6 of 7 from beyond the arc. Alabama State was able to stick around the majority of the second half due to 10 Braves turnovers.
