Alcorn Hosts UAPB Monday

Alcorn returns to Davey L. Whitney on Monday, Feb. 15, playing host to the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff and looking to gain more traction as it draws closer to the Southwestern Athletic Conference basketball tournament.
The Lady Braves enter tonight's game on a two-game win streak but at 6-16 overall and 4-8 in conference action, they need to continue stringing together wins to close out the regular season. The two teams met earlier this season with the Lady Braves falling 71-69. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
ESPNU will televise the men's game tonight as the Braves (11-12) look to win their fourth straight. The Braves are currently tied for second place in the SWAC Eastern Division with a 9-3 mark and look to repeat a second win over UAPB. The Braves rolled past the Golden Lions in their first meeting of the season, 73-65. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:05 p.m.
