Alcorn’s Five-Game Winning Streak Snapped by Alabama State

Braves drop 73-59 decision to Alabama State University

DeAndré Davis had 26 points, but it wasn't enough as Alabama State University out-lasted Alcorn 73-59, to snap the Braves' five-game winning streak Monday night.

With the setback, Alcorn moved to 13-13 overall and 11-4 in SWAC action, while ASU improved to 11-15 overall and 7-8 in conference play.

Alcorn will return to action Saturday, Feb. 27, as the Braves play host to Southern University. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
