Alcorn's Best Honored at Student-Athlete Awards Banquet

An outstanding group of Braves were honored Thursday, April 28 at Alcorn State University's annual student athlete awards banquet, held at the James L. Bolden Campus Union Ballroom.
 
The speaker for the evening was former Alcorn football player and National Football League player Lawrence Pillers. Pillers was a member of the San Francisco 49ers' Super Bowl XVI and Super Bowl XIX winning teams. 
 
Graduating seniors were presented an athletic medallion and a year membership to the A-Club from current residing president, Judge Cedric Bush.
