Quoting Alcorn head coach Montez Robinson
Opening Statement
"I was really pleased with the effort and energy our guys played with. We rebounded the ball well, and that was one of the keys in our pregame. We had three guys with at least seven rebounds which is great. We also wanted to run our opponents off the three-point line and I thought we did a pretty good job with that."

On subbing a lot of guys
"I wanted to play a lot of guys tonight and let everyone get a feel for the game. I wanted to see what some guys could do off the bench. I wanted to do that in previous games, but today I made sure to get everyone an opportunity and see if I could get a spark out of anyone. I saw some things from some guys who hadn't normally been getting in, and maybe they'll start getting into our rotation."

On Reginal Johnson coming off the bench
"He scored 20 points in 17 minutes. Maybe that's where he should be at. I thought this was a game for us to maybe try something different and put him back in his old role coming off the bench. I don't know if we'll keep him there and he'll still have to rebound better. Though, I was really pleased with his production in just 17 minutes."

On Devon Brewer's career-high
"He had nine points but he probably should have had at least 15. There were three or four passes that sort of fumbled off his hands. Though, I was really pleased with his effort. He played a great game. The same could be said for Yalen Reed who played very aggressively."
