LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University baseball program registered seven hits, but Alabama A&M was able to get all of the key outs and take a 7-0 result Saturday at Willie "E" Rat McGowan Stadium.

Wallace Rios Jimenez extended his on-base streak to 18 games which includes every contest he's played this year. It marked his fifth multi-hit game of the season.

Jason Sanez to seven and junior
A.J. Makarewicz to six.

Sophomore
Brandon Barna turned in a big day as he went three-for-four at the plate. It was his fifth multi-hit game and second three-hit performance of the year.

The Bulldogs (7-19, 4-4 SWAC) took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. They pushed it out to 4-0 in the fourth after taking advantage of a pair of miscues by the Braves. It started out with a two-out wild pitch with the bases loaded, and then an error plated two more.

AAMU added three additional runs in the ninth on a walk and three hits.

Senior
Daniel Belmont (1-3) was given the loss despite striking out nine in 6.0 innings. Blaine Milam (3-3) lasted 7.0 frames and picked up the win for AAMU.

Wilanier Betancourt led the Bulldogs at the plate with three hits and a run scored.
