THIBODAUX, La. – Kicking off a 12-game road swing, the Alcorn State University baseball program will head to Nicholls State for a pair of 6 p.m. games Tuesday and Wednesday at Ray E. Didier Field.

It's the longest road trip of the season for the Braves (7-15, 3-6 SWAC) who will go 26 days between home games.

The Colonels (13-11, 5-4 SLC) are 10-3 at home this season including a 3-1 win over No. 13 UL-Lafayette. Though, they are coming off a tough road weekend where they dropped three games at McNeese State.
