LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University volleyball program will conclude its nonconference home-and-home series with the Wiley College Wildcats Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in Marshall, Texas.

The Lady Braves (4-20, 2-12 SWAC) are fourth in the SWAC for service aces as they've recorded 1.37 per set and 112 on the campaign.

Jasmine Chambers has emerged as an all-around star for the purple and gold with six double-doubles, 5.72 assists per set (fourth in SWAC) and 0.29 aces per set (seventh in SWAC). The Fort Worth, Texas native has won three SWAC Setter of the Week Awards this season.

Fiapaipai Iosia joins Chambers among the SWAC leaders at 3.19 digs per set and is making her mark on the Alcorn volleyball record book. The libero/defensive specialist from Long Beach, California is the program's all-time digs leader at 1108 and counting while currently placing fifth on the career service aces list with 129.

Sydney Joseph is the team's biggest offensive weapon with 168 kills (2.13 per set) and 190.5 points (2.41 per set) while fellow sophomore
Simone Barren is the best blocker at 48 (0.59 per set).

Scouting the Wiley College Wildcats (16-9, 9-2 Red River)
The Wildcats have proven to be one of the tougher squads to face in the NAIA's Division I as of late, placing inside the top-50 nationally for hitting percentage (.213) and assists per game (11.56).
The Lady Braves frontline will need to key in on WC's Khrystyna Frank who is eighth in the country with 4.43 kills per game.
Wiley's setter, Alexia Souza, has also been playing at an elite level, ranking top-50 for total assists (816) and top-20 in assists per game (10.07).
Wiley College has won all three matchups with the Lady Braves in the series, sweeping Alcorn during its home opener on October 1 in the first meeting this year.
