DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Alcorn State University women's basketball program got a career-best scoring night from sophomore
Diamond Hall as the Lady Braves fell to the Tigers, 77-46.
The Lady Braves (3-6) led from the start to the 6:05 mark in the second quarter but Clemson surged ahead and never looked back after that.
Hall was a pain in the Tigers' side all night long, guiding the purple and gold with a career-high 14 points, a season-best seven rebounds and tied for the team lead at three steals and two assists.

LaRae Rascoe fell just shy of the double-digit point threshold, accumulating nine points to go along with a pair of steals and rebounds.
Clemson (3-5) had three Tigers hit double-figure points as Kaylee Sticker (16) led the charge while Kobi Thonrton and Kendall Spray had 15 and 10, respectively. Hannah Hank led all game participants with nine rebounds while Destiny Thomas had a game-high six assists.
Alcorn started the contest fast, racing out to an 11-point advantage through the first eight minutes and 26 seconds. Clemson shrunk the gap to six before the end of the quarter but the Lady Braves took a 19-13 edge into the second quarter.
The purple and gold kept the lead at 21-15 with 7:43 on the clock in the second frame. The Tigers would peel off nine unanswered and 11 of the next 13 to storm in front at 26-23. The Lady Braves made five points to Clemson's eight over the remaining portion of the first half as the girls from Lorman found themselves in a six-point hole as the halftime horn sounded (34-28).

Jamaysha Bernard to begin the second half trimmed the Clemson advantage to four at 34-30. An 11-0 outburst by the Tigers blew the lead open to 15 for the orange and purple which is where the deficit stayed when the clock hit zeroes at the end of the third (54-39).
Clemson outscored Alcorn 23-7 in the final frame as the Tigers took a 77-46 win back home to South Carolina.
