LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University men's basketball program will have a lot of new faces on the court in 2019-20 as it announced the addition of seven newcomers.
Â
The Braves signed guards, Isaiah Attles, Dominic Brewton, Arne Morris and Corey Tillery, and forwards Mark Carter and Anthon Fairley, and guard/forward Edrick Alworth.
Â
"I'm really excited about this group of guys and I can't wait to get them all here. All of our practices will be highly competitive, and we're hoping that it translates to tough play during games," said Alcorn head coach
Montez Robinson. "When putting this recruiting class together, we wanted to become more athletic and bring in more shooters to go along with
Maurice Howard. We wanted to add depth to the guard position so we can get out and play up-tempo and a lot faster. All of these players are versatile, can play more than one position and can guard multiple positions defensively so we can make changes during the course of the game."
