LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University women's soccer program will host Louisiana-Monroe on Friday at 4 p.m. and Mississippi University for Women on Sunday for Senior Day at 3 p.m. inside Jack Spinks-Marino Casem Stadium.
The Lady Braves (0-8, 0-8 SWAC) will honor its two graduating seniors prior to Sunday's match as team manager
Trinity Jones and forward
Mireya Gonzalez will wear Purple and Gold for the final time.
Jones has been apart of the coaching staff for the past three seasons and has been helped mentor the student-athletes to become better players as well as better people.
Gonzalez will go down as one of the best players in program history, currently ranking second in career assists (4), fifth in points (22) and goals (9) plus was named to two All-SWAC Teams.
The Los Angeles, California native's 2019 season will be one for the record books as she had the most single season assists of all-time (3), fifth-most points (11), eighth-most goals (4) and capped off the year with a hat trick against Mississippi Valley State to account for half of the team's program record six goals in a 6-3 victory.

Scouting the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (4-12, 0-8 Sun Belt)
ULM played in both a fall and spring season with the fall 2020 slate consisting primarily of Sun Belt opponents while the spring has been all non-conference foes.
So far in the spring portion of the campaign, the Warhawks have gone 4-2 with victories over Texas-Tyler (3-0), Southern (3-0), Grambling State (4-0) and Nicholls (4-0).
Janet Stopka is the leading scorer for the ladies from Monroe, placing 11th in the nation with eight goals and top-30 for points at 16 while leading the Sun Belt with a 0.57 goals per game average.
Hailey Hillock has started all16 matches at goalie this year, slotting in just outside the top-15 in the NCAA for total saves (63).
Alcorn has faced Louisiana-Monroe once in the past, losing to the Warhawks in 2005.

Scouting the MUW Owls (2-10)
The Mississippi University for Women is currently in a transition period to become a member of the NCAA's Division III, have beaten Belhaven (2-0) plus Millsaps (2-1) in 2021 and its only other
competition against a Division I opponent was fellow SWAC member UAPB with the Lady Lions prevailing, 3-0.
The Owls have seen four goals scored thus far, all by different players as Sarah Havens, Hannah Helms, Lindsey Moyle and Lizzie Truelock have put on past the keeper.
Sarah Gilliland and Caitlyn Fox have partaken in a 75/25 split, respectively between the pipes for MUW with Gilliland picking up both wins plus a shutout of the Blazers.
The Purple and Gold have played the Owls just one time in program history as well, losing a hard-fought 2-1 game in 2018.
