VICKSBURG, Miss. – The Alcorn State women's tennis team made its return to the court for the first time in seven days with a 4-0 loss against Jackson State University on Saturday afternoon in Vicksburg, Miss.
The Tigers improve to a 5-2 on the season as the Braves fall to 3-8.
Mikaela Konstantinova and Stefany Grlj were the only two athletes for Alcorn to pick up sets in the contest. Unfortunately, their game went unfinished as other courts decided the match.
The Braves will have two days rest before heading to Natchitoches, La., on Sunday. Alcorn State women's tennis will take on the Demons of Northwestern State University. The first serve is scheduled for noon.
