LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State volleyball traveled to Daytona, Florida for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) cluster that began on Sunday and finished on Monday afternoon. The Lady Braves had matches against Florida A&M, Alabama State, and Bethune-Cookman. The Lady Braves went 0-3 in the cluster.
Alcorn State 0, Florida A&M 3
In match one, the Lady Braves were led by
Ramona Pulu who finished with a team leading eight assists, three kills and one block.
Harmoni Carswell had seven digs and one ace.
Alcorn State 0, Alabama State 3
In match two, the Lady Braves were led by
Makayla Wardlaw who finished with a team leading 13 digs, six kills, one ace and one block.
Ramona Pulu had ten assists, four digs and four kills.
Alissa Williams followed by 7 assists, four digs and one block.
Alcorn State 0, Bethune-Cookman 3
In match three, The Lady Braves were led by Harmoni Caswell who finished with 20 digs and one assist.
Makayla Wardlaw finished with eleven digs, five kills and one block.
Ramona Pulu finished with nine assists, two digs and three kills.
Jalayah Hamby led the Lady Braves with two blocks.
The Lady Braves will be back in action on Sunday, November 5th, and 6th against Prairie View and Texas Southern in Lorman, MS. First serve is set to be at 1:00 p.m.
