LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State volleyball lost 1-3 against Texas Southern in a match-up on Monday evening in Lorman.
The Lady Braves were led by
Makayla Wardlaw who finished with 18 digs, 12 kills, and one ace.
Ramona Pulu followed with 15 digs, 13 assists, four kills, three blocks, and two aces.
Alissa Williams led the Lady Braves with 14 assists, and
Hannah Solomon had 12 kills.
On this special evening, we gathered to honor
Makayla Wardlaw, a shining star on the volleyball court and a true leader on the team. Congratulations on your Senior Night, Makayla! May this be just the beginning of many more incredible achievements ahead.
The Lady Braves will be back in action on Sunday, November 12th against the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Pine, Bluff, Arkansas. First serve is set to be at 4:00 p.m.
