Kendall Named SWAC Player of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alcorn State's Jeremiah Kendall and Texas Southern's PJ Henry for SWAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during this past week of conference play.   Player of the Week Kendall posted back-to-back impressive outings this past week of competition for the Braves. He averaged a team leading 25.5 points per game to go along with 8.0 rebounds per game. He shot 67 percent from the field and 92 percent from the free-throw line during Alcorn State's most recent two outings.   Impact Player of the Week Henry was a key contributor for the Texas Southern Tigers this past week of competition.
