LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University Cheerleaders will be hosting their annual Jr. High and High School Summer Camp for local schools. The camp will be held June 26-30, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Davey L Whitney Complex in Lorman, Miss.
Each squad will learn a variety of cheers, chants, dances, stunts, and pyramids. These skills will be useful as it will add to their repertoire of cheers that they can perform at their respective school's football and basketball games.
Each group will be assigned an Alcorn cheerleader to help assist them in their performances, being available to utilize the routines during pep rallies and sideline performances during the upcoming sports calendar.
Individual participants and full squads are encouraged to sign up. The cost per cheerleader is $85 and can be paid
here, selecting "donation", inputting the amount, and selecting Spirit Team (Cheerleaders) from the pull-down menu.
This is a commuter camp. All coaches registering full squads are asked to contact Coach
Asia Thomas at alcorncheer@gmail.com after filling out their registration form.
