Alcorn State Tops Alabama A&M For First Win of The Season, 62-52

LORMAN – Alcorn State men's basketball claimed its first victory of the season and first SWAC win with a commanding 62-52 triumph over Alabama A&M on Saturday afternoon at the Davey L. Whitney Health & Physical Education Complex.

Djahi Binet led the way for the Braves with a double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing nine rebounds while shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. Marcus Tankersley added 14 points and three rebounds, while Julian Lual contributed nine points and a key three-pointer in the second half to spark Alcorn's run.
