Braves Rally Late but Fall to Florida A&M in Season Finale

LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State baseball closed out the 2025 season with a hard-fought 9-3 loss to Florida A&M on Saturday afternoon at Rat McGowan Stadium. The Braves (6-43, 1-29 SWAC) showed resilience with a three-run rally in the ninth inning, but the Rattlers (30-23, 24-6 SWAC) maintained control throughout the contest with timely hitting and aggressive baserunning.

Florida A&M jumped out to an early 4-0 lead through two innings and held Alcorn scoreless until the eighth. Jermel Ford, Reyfield Adams, and Ty Boze each delivered extra-base hits in the ninth to help spark a late surge, while six different Braves recorded hits in the finale.
