Vicksburg, Miss. – Alcorn State defeated Alabama State 6–0 Sunday afternoon in SWAC play at Key City Park.
The Lady Braves scored all six goals in the first half, led by Iesha Rollins' hat trick with goals in the 4th, 10th and 34th minutes. Annick Zouma and Sophia Lopez also scored, with Lopez adding her second goal of the match off an assist from Ainara Aldeano.
Alabama State was held without a shot on target and managed just five corner kicks. The Lady Hornets limited Alcorn to one shot in the second half but were unable to get on the scoreboard.
