Montgomery, Ala-Lady Braves (3-4-2, 0-0-1 SWAC) played to a 0-0 tie against Alabama State Hornets (0-7-2, 0-0-1 SWAC Sunday afternoon in the SWAC road opener.

First Half:
Lady Braves registered 5 shots and three corner kicks in the opening 45 minutes. Elie Larissa Joso Lumar registered two shots, while Grace Ambrose, Deryn Doamekpor, and Sophia Bobie also recorded attempts.Alabama State finished the half with three shots and one corner kick. Renata Da Rosa made one save for Alcorn. The match remained scoreless at halftime.

Second Half:
Alcorn increased the pressure after the half, recording 11 shots and four corner kicks.Ambrose had multiple opportunities, including a shot off the right post in the 61st minute, while Leyla Llanos Boursiquot hit the crossbar in the 64th minute. Bernita Baafi also created several chances, including a shot off the crossbar in the 74th minute.
