2019 (Redshirt Junior):
Led the team in ERA (7.20), wins (3), and saves (6)...Finished second in the SWAC in saves...Had the most strikeouts of any Braves reliever (36)...Earned a decision (win or save) in nine of the team’s 14 victories...Made his first career start against Grambling State (4/23), pitching a season-high 5.1 innings...Had eight scoreless appearances...Struck out eight batters over five innings versus Alabama State (4/14).

2018 (Junior):
Redshirted.

Previous School:
Won the WHAC Gold Glove at Concordia (Ann Arbor)...WHAC Second Team All-Conference...Appeared in 20 games and threw 31.0 innings with a 5-0 record and 0.87 ERA. Against 127 total batters face, he allowed 21 hits and four runs (three earned) with nine walks and 25 strikeouts. Owned a 1.000 fielding percentage with seven putouts. Offensively, Atwood hit .750 in four at bats with three hits and nine stolen bases...Biggest highlight was closing out a playoff game against Indiana Tech for a win and advancing to the next round.
