2019 - SWAC Track Athlete of the Week (4/24)

2019 (Junior – Cross Country):
Ran the 5K in 20:20.63 during the Mississippi College Opener (8/30)…Posted a time of 26:35.07 and a top-25 finish during the 6K at the Southern Invitational (9/7)…Had a season-low mark of 20:06.10 in the 5K at the Allstate Sugar Bowl X Country Festival (9/14)…Recorded a 29:42.30 four-mile in the regular season finale at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede (9/28).

2019 (Sophomore – Outdoor Track & Field):
Won his heat with a personal record time of 49.48 in the 400m and ran a 54.46 in the 400m hurdles at the Bulldog Relays (3/22)…Logged a top-10 finish in the 400m at 49.74 during the Jim Mize Invite (4/6)…Placed 3rd in the 400m with a time of 50.86 at the UCA Open (4/13)…Posted a 54.69 in the 400m hurdles during the LSU Alumni Gold Meet (4/20)…Finished 2nd in the 400m hurdles with a 52.98 during the Southern Miss Open (4/27)…Came in 4th-place with a personal-best of 52.26 in the 400m hurdles at the SWAC Championships to earn a trip to the NCAA Regionals (5/5)…Placed 42nd overall and 8th in his heat with a time of 53.32 in the 400m hurdles during the NCAA East Regionals (5/23).
 
2019 (Sophomore – Indoor Track & Field):
Ran a 50.51 in the 400m at the Samford Open (1/19)…Logged a top-10 finish in the 400m with a time of 50.11 at the Emory Invite (1/20)…Won his heat with a 50.06 showing in the 400m during the KMS Invite (1/27)…Placed in the top-10 with a 50.35 time in the 400m at the Jaguar Invite (2/3).
 
2018 (Freshman – Outdoor Track & Field):
Earned 5th place in the 400m hurdles with a 55.71 and ran a 15.94 in the 110m hurdles at the McNeese State Cowboy Relays (3/10)…Had a personal record of 15.90 in the 100m hurdles, finished in 3rd place during the 400m hurdles at 54.49, ran the 4x100 relay in 43.17 and the 4x400 relays in 3:20.70 during the Louisiana Classic (3/17)…Logged a top-10 placement in the 400m hurdles at 55.55 and ran a 15.98 in the 110m hurdles at the Bulldog Relays (3/24).
 
2018 (Freshman – Indoor Track & Field):
Ran a 52.77 in the 400m, a 9.74 in the 60m hurdles and a 11:53.24 in the distance medley during the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invite (1/12)…Placed 5th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.71 at the Emory Invite (1/22)…Finished 5th while winning his heat with a 51.50 time in the 400m and ran a 8.22 in the 55m hurdles during the McNeese Indoor Invite (1/26)…Earned 5th and a heat win in the 400m at 51.71 while running a 8.95 in the 60m hurdles and a 3:28.48 during the 4x400 relays at the LSU Bayou Bengal Invite (2/2)…Posted a 10.02 in the 60m hurdles during the SWAC Championships (2/16).
