2019 (Freshman)
Duffey was named to the HERO Sports All-America Freshman Team. He came in and took over the starting roll in his first year and started in six games. He was the team’s leading rusher with 838 yards and six touchdowns. Duffey rushed for at least 100 yards four times in games against Mississippi College, Alabama State, Grambling State and Alabama A&M. His season-high was 138 yards to go along with two touchdowns against MC. Duffey's season-long was a 67-yard touchdown run at Alabama State. He also caught touchdown passes against MC and McNeese State. Duffey was a two-time SWAC Newcomer of the Week winner...

Niko Duffey came to Alcorn as a 247 3-Star Running Back after leading Jefferson HS to four consecutive district championships from 2015-18. He tallied 2982 yards and 22 touchdowns and averaged over 7 yards per carry.
