2021-22 (Freshman):
Earned top rookie honors as the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Freshman of the Year after playing in all 25 games with 17 starts on the year and leading the Braves with 9.0 ppg on 39.3 percent shooting to put away a team-high 79 field goals…picking her shots from distance, White logged seven threes on 41.2 percent perimeter shooting…She also averaged 3.3 rebounds per game and made five blocks on the year…She ranked among the top 10 SWAC freshmen and led all SWAC freshmen in scoring…Made her first career start at Marquette on November 9…Scored a season-high 23 points at Mississippi Valley State (2/7)…Collected a season-high seven boards against Texas Southern at home (1/15)…Registered season-best of four assists at New Orleans (11/22), three steals vs. Grambling (1/31), nine field goals made at UAPB (2/5) and shot 7-for-11 at the free throw line at MVSU (2/7).
 
High School:
Graduated from Hazlehurst High School, where she played for Head Coach TeAirra Wilbert-Menzie as a point guard…Was recognized as Player of the Year after averaging 20 ppg in helping HHS to a Conference Championship as a senior and was also picked Most Valuable Player as a junior.

Nicknamed “Deuce” or “Tookie”, Zy’Nyia Mo’nae White was born March 5 in Jackson, Mississippi…The daughter of Rakia Jordan and Troy White, and has numerous siblings…Scored 35 points in a game while in middle school…enjoys welding as a hobby beyond the court…Majoring in Sport Management.
