Mariah Prince is entering her first year at the helm of the Alcorn State Volleyball program.
Prince returns to the reservation after spending the previous two seasons in the same role at Mississippi Valley State.
Prior to making her way to MVSU, Prince was at the helm of two club teams and one high school program, leading the Texas Legacy Volleyball Club in 2018, coaching both varsity and JV squads at Murrah High School during the 2016 campaign, and starting a volleyball team for the Mississippi Basketball Association at the beginning of the 2013 athletic calendar.
Along with her expertise on the bench, she also made contributions on the court at the collegiate level as well, spending two seasons as a setter on the Tougaloo College Lady Bulldogs from 2014-2015 while also helping out as a Student Assistant Coach while she redshirted in 2013.
Prince is no stranger to the reservation having played one season in Lorman with Alcorn State University back in 2009.
