WHAT TO LOOK FOR ON SATURDAY...........

STORYLINES

-This game marks the Braves seventh and final home game of the 2014 football season for the Braves

-The Braves are 6-0 at Spinks-Casem Stadium this season with their last win coming against Arkansas-Pine Bluff 56-6.

-Alcorn goes into Saturday's game with a 9-2 overall record and 7-1 record in SWAC play after.  The Braves are hoping to record their first 10-win season in school history.

-The Braves and rival Jackson State meet for the 74th time in both of the school's history with the Tigers leading the series 43-29-2.

-In the last 10 meetings, the Braves and Tigers have pretty much split the contest with the series being tied.

-Last season the Braves handed Jackson State their only SWAC loss of the season in Jackson with a 48-33 victory.

-The last time the Braves hosted Jackson State in Spinks-Casem Stadium was in 2012 when the game returned to Lorman.  The Tigers won 37-11 in Coach Hopson's first season at the helm.

-Head Coach Jay Hopson and Jackson State's head coach Harold Jackson meet for the first time in their coaching careers.
