The Braves and New Orleans posted zeroes across the board except for the fifth inning where the Privateers recorded five runs to defeat the Braves 5-0.

Colton Laird had a no-hitter going until the fifth inning when the Privateers bats went to swinging. Â The Braves recorded two errors in the inning and Laird gave up two doubles which allowed the Privateers to score five runs.
Laird picked up his first loss of the season.  Earl Burl II,
Collin Carroll and
Daniel Belmont each recorded one hit for the game.
The Braves face SWAC foe Grambling State tonight at 6:00 p.m.
