Braves Shutout by Oklahoma

The Alcorn State baseball team completed their two-game series with the Oklahoma Sooners yesterday evening falling 8-0.

The Braves earned six hits but couldn't manage to score a run.  Oklahoma recorded 11 hits to defeat the Braves. 

Devontae Thompson was credited with the loss.

This weekend the Braves return to action as they travel to Texas to face SWAC West foe Prairie View A&M in a three-game series beginning Saturday with a doubleheader at noon.
