LORMAN, Miss.
– The Alcorn State University men's basketball program will be in action Thursday evening when it welcomes Our Lady of the Lake at 5:30 p.m. at the Davey L. Whitney Complex.

In their most recent home game, the Braves posted a lopsided 111-59 win over Paul Quinn on Nov. 12. The 111 points were the most scored by Alcorn in 21 seasons. The Braves improved to 144-6 all-time when they score at least 100 points in a game.

Junior Troymain Crosby, a Preseason All-Conference Second-Team selection, leads the team with 13.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He's coming off four consecutive double-figure scoring games against UL-Monroe, Paul Quinn, No. 13 Memphis and NC State. Crosby ranks second in the conference in free throw percentage with a .895 mark.

Senior Deshaw Andrews averages 11.0 points per game and is coming off a season-high 17 points at NC State. Andrews has reached double-digits in four of five games this year.

Junior Kobe Wilson leads the team and ranks third in the SWAC with 7.8 rebounds per game. He registered his first career double-double with career-highs of 14 points and 12 rebounds against Paul Quinn.

As a team, Alcorn ranks first in the SWAC in both three-pointers made per game (8.4) and three-point percentage defense (.290). Senior Corey Tillery drills 2.4 threes per outing and averages 10.2 points per game.

Alcorn will be the first Division I opponent for OLLU (2-3) this season. The Saints compete at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIAI) level in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC).
