Tillery won the 2019-20 Alcorn Sportsmanship Award on campus... averaged 12.3 points per game and was the only Brave to start in all 30 games... led the SWAC in three-pointers made per game with 3.0... finished second in school history in most threes made in a season with 86... drilled at least five threes in six different games... shot .374 from beyond-the-arc and .800 from the free throw line... aided Alcorn in breaking the school record in team free throw percentage with a .744 (415-558) mark. The previous record was .727 in 1966-67... logged 32.1 minutes per game... tallied 21 double-figure scoring games and three 20-plus outings... poured in a career-high 26 points in a win at Texas Southern and was 8-for-11 from three... submitted 21 points and eight rebounds at Tulane... finished with 21 points against Southern at home... racked up a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds at Mississippi Valley State

Previous School
Tillery is a graduate transfer from Tennessee Tech. Last season, he averaged 8.1 points per game and shot .842 from the free throw line. The 6-3 guard transferred to TTU after spending two years at Armstrong State where he led the team with 18.4 points per game and was the PBC Freshman of the Year.

High School
Tillery lettered four years at Douglas County High School in Douglasville, Ga…. averaged 10.2 points per game as a senior… set the season 3-point record as a senior… earned All-County First Team and All-Region Honorable Mention honors… helped lead DCHS to three straight appearances in the state tournament sweet 16… also helped lead DCHS to the 2014 region championship… averaged 13 points per game and shot 42 percent from 3-point range during his career
