Lorman, Miss. – The Alcorn State University women's soccer program fell in its two contests to Jacksonville State and Louisiana Tech at Spinks-Casem Stadium last weekend.

Senior Giselle Rojas played the full 90 minutes in the field on Friday night and then went the entire game in net on Sunday as she tallied 11 saves. Freshman Kali Helms was the goalkeeper on Friday, notching 13 saves in her Alcorn regular season debut.

The purple and gold will get an almost two week break before making its first road trip of the regular season to LSU-Alexandria on Thursday, September 5 at 4 p.m.
