BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The scheduled SWAC home opener for the Alcorn State University women's basketball team has been postponed this Saturday against Texas Southern due to COVID-19. This comes after the Alcorn men's basketball game was postponed earlier in the week against Texas Southern, also due to COVID-19.
A make up date for the game has not been determined at this time.
Both teams will now look to open the SWAC and their home portions of the schedule this coming Monday, January 4 when Alcorn hosts Prairie View A&M with the Lady Braves opening the night at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
