BATON ROUGE, La. – The Alcorn State University women's basketball program had an off shooting night and it came back to haunt them as Southern torched the nets in a 72-46 defeat.
The Lady Braves (6-11, 6-7 SWAC) shot relatively well from three-point territory (5-of-15, .333) but went just 14-for-49 (.286) from inside the arc which opened the door for the lopsided result.

Â
Cayla Obillo tied with Clark for the top assist-getter for Alcorn at four while being the only other Lady Brave to score in double-digits with ten.

Nakia Kincey was en fuego for the home team, connecting on four triples while going 7-for-11 (.636) from the field to lead all game scorers with 20 as well as dishing out a tied for game-best four assists.
