LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University women's soccer program played its originally scheduled Friday matchup on Saturday and dropped the match 4-0 to the Warhawks.

Mikayla Shaughnessy spent just under 75 minutes in goal for Coach Larry, tallying six saves while Vivian Lugo notched two over the final 15 of regulation.

Louisiana-Monroe (5-12, 0-8 Sun Belt) recorded 30 shots with 13 on-target (43.3%) and took five corners.

Janet Stopka was grabbing points left and right, netting two goals and an assist with both goals coming within five minutes of one another.

Thenia Zervas started the goal scoring with a laser beam into the top-right shelf with an assist by Efi Brame in 27'.

Cassidy Wiest ended the point production at 87:25, putting one past Lugp with a helper from Stopka.

Alcorn is now 0-2 against Louisiana-Monroe.

The Lady Braves end the season Sunday at 3 p.m. versus the Mississippi University for Women on Senior Day for Mireya Gonzalez and Trinity Jones.
