Soccer Shutout Against Prairie View

LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University women's soccer program put up a respectable fight versus the reigning SWAC Champions but the Lady Panthers relentlessly attacked the net in a 5-0 PVAMU victory.

Goalkeeper Vivian Lugo put together a good showing on the evening, stopping ten shots from finding its way past the goal line.

D'Ana Prieto had Alcorn's only shot-on-goal, registering a perfect SOG percentage as it was her only attempt of the night.

The two other shots came via Mireya Gonzalez and Habana Guerra.

Prairie View moves to 15-1-1 in the series, winning the past nine matchups against Alcorn.

Coach Larry's ladies host Texas Southern inside Spinks-Casem Stadium on Sunday afternoon with kickoff set for 1 p.m. in its final home conference game of 2021.
