LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn women's tennis team (3-6) will host Arkansas State University (2-4) at the Alcorn Tennis Complex on Friday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m.
The Braves will play their first match in 15 days after going 2-1 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Round-Up. Alcorn defeated Bethune-Cookman, 4-0, in its first game and Florida A&M ,4-1, in the second game. The Braves suffered their only loss of the event on closing day to Prairie View A&M, falling 4-2.
Arkansas State is coming off a 4-1 loss against in-state rival the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Wolves struggled in the doubles matches but took the first point in the singles games.
