LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University baseball team opens the 2023 season at home versus Alabama A&M in a three-game/three-day series beginning on Friday, Feb. 17. The Braves will kick off its second season under head coach Reggie Williams with a strong team of talent.
Several familiar faces from last year's squad return, including Garrett Palladino, Tyler Daniels, Payton Baylis, Khalil Smith, Jermel Ford, Jordan Holt, Jamil Betancourt, Diego Lopez-Molina, Jack Butler, Austin Guzman, Jamal Green, and Ire Tolbert. The Braves add 28 new student-athletes to the roster for the 2023 season.
With a full roster, Alcorn looks to improve on last year's 2-39 overall record and 2-28 record in conference play.
