In Sunday's match, Prairie View took two of the three doubles contest to take the first point of the day. Alcorn duo Kimberley Kaome and Mikaela Konstantinova won their doubles set against Anette Lira and Salma Sanchez, 6-2, for the Lady Braves only double victory.
Alcorn claimed won the match in the singles competition. Jaime Edwards won the Lady Bravges first point, defeating Anette Lira, 6-2, 6-4, on court six. Nicole Kells then gave Alcorn a 2-1 advantage, winning her contest against Salma Sanchez, 6-3, 6-3.
Kimberley Kaome extended the lead on court four with a 6-1, 6-3, victory against Mahogani Green. The Panthers picked up one point on court one, but Alcorn won the match on court two as Konstantinova defeated Aleyla Wooten, 7-5, 6-2.
