HAMMOND, La. – Alcorn State University baseball traveled Southeastern Louisiana University for a Tuesday matchup. The Braves fell to the Lions, 2-12.
    ASU (0-10) scored two runs on four hits while committing one error.
Nathan Gamez went 1-of-2 at the plate, scored a run, and batted one in.
Diego Lopez-Molina batted one in.
Garrett Palladino went 2-of-4 at the plate while
Kalum Banks, Jr. went 1-of-4.
    Southeastern Louisiana (9-4) scored 12 runs on 11 hits with no errors. Justin Williams batted two in while Jake Haze went 1-of-2 at the plate and scored three runs. Bailyn Sorensen went 3-of-4, scored three runs, and batted one in. Parker Coley went 1-of-3, batted two runs in and scored two. Peyton Woods went 2-of-3, batted three in, and scored three runs. T.J. Salvaggio went 3-of-3 at the plate, scored one run, and batted three in.
    Carson Robb picked up the win for the Lions with 2.2 innings pitched allowing one hit, two run (one earned), one walk, five strikeouts, and faced 11 batters.
    Hayden Conkler suffered the loss for the Braves with one inning pitched allowing three hits, four earned runs, two walks, and faced nine batters.
    Alcorn will be back in action on March 9-10 against Southern University-New Orleans at Chester Willis Field at Natchez High School in Natchez, Miss. First pitch of the series will be at 3 p.m.
