STARKVILLE, Miss. – Alcorn State University baseball traveled to face Mississippi State University in a mid-week game. The Braves were defeated by the Bulldogs, 0-11.
Alcorn scored no runs with three hits while committing two errors.
Garrett Palladino,
Nathan Gamez, and
Jaylon Burrell each accounted for a hit.
The Bulldogs scored 11 runs on nine hits while committing an error. Dakota Jordan finished with two hits, two runs and three batted in. Ethan Pulliam scored a run, had two hits, and an RBI.
Pico Kohn snapped up the win for MSU with three innings pitched for a hit, five strikeouts, and 10 batters faced.
Michael Lorenz suffered the loss for the Braves with three innings pitched for three hits, five runs, four walks, two strikeouts and 15 batters faced.
