LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State University Athletics had 57 student-athletes walk across the stage during the Spring 2024 commencement ceremony on Saturday. The list included student-athletes, equipment managers, trainers, and spirit squad members.
"Our student-athletes continuously show up in the classroom," said Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services Jivanna Smith. "Today's milestone has proven not only their hard work and dedication to the classroom, but also to this university. We are beyond proud of their accomplishments and wish them all the best in their future endeavors."
The Braves student-athlete graduate list also featured the Student of the Year as Braves cheerleader, Kennedi Fitzgerald, won the award. Fitzgerald received her Bachelor of Science degree in the field of nursing.
