FLOWOOD, Miss. – Alcorn alumni, fans and golf enthusiasts alike are invited to tee off with NFL legend Donald Driver at the "Celebrity Toast and Tee," a golf outing scheduled for Friday, August 28, at The Refuge Golf Course in Flowood, Mississippi. All proceeds go directly to the support of Alcorn Athletics.
The event will bring together community members, sponsors, and numerous Alcorn fans and alums for a day of golf, camaraderie, and celebration alongside Alcorn alum Donald Driver – Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame receiver and Super Bowl XLV champion.

Participants can expect a shotgun start at 1 p.m. (CDT), golf lessons, awards ceremony, dinner buffet, photo opportunities with Driver and other prominent Alcorn alums and dignitaries, and much more. The official after-party is scheduled for later that evening at the adjacent Sheraton Flowood The Refuge beginning at 7 p.m.

E. D'Wayne Robinson. "This is going to be an exciting event to open up our football campaign the following day against Miles."
