LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State University Athletics student-athletes closed out the semester strong with high grade point averages for Spring 2024. Braves women's and men's tennis had highest GPAs with 3.86 and 3.70, respectively. Braves football ended the semester with the 12 student-athletes achieving a 4.0 term GPA. This also marks the 19th semester that ASU had accomplished the milestone.
"Our student-athletes continuously excel in the classroom. This is a testament of the investment from our coaches and support staff," said Associate Athletic Director (Student-Athlete Services) Jivanna Smith. "I am always proud of their hard work and dedication in the classroom."
