MONROE, La. – Alcorn State University baseball traveled to Monroe, La. to face the University of Louisiana-Monroe in a single game. The Braves fought hard but were defeated 2-17 in seven innings.
    Alcorn scored two runs on six hits while committing no errors.
Nathan Gamez finished the night with a hit and two batted in.
    ULM scored 17 runs on 12 hits while committing no errors. Easton Winfield had two hits and five RBI. Michelle Artzberger finished the game with two hits, two runs, and three runs batted in. Hasani Johnson finished the night with three hits, two runs, and two RBI. Colby Lunsford had two runs batted in.
    Davis Oswalt picked up the win for the Warhawks with an inning pitched for two walks, a strikeout, and faced five batters.

Kewan Braziel suffered the loss for the Braves with an inning pitched for three hits, three runs, a strikeout, and faced seven batters.
