VICKSBURG, Miss. – The Alcorn State women's tennis team battled against Stephen F. Austin on Friday afternoon but fell 7-0 in a tough matchup at the City Park Courts. Despite the result, the Lady Braves continued to show resilience as they gained valuable experience against a strong opponent.
Stephen F. Austin secured the doubles point with victories on all three courts. The duo of
Natalija Nikolic and Doaa Mohamed competed at the top spot but fell 6-2.

In singles play, Stephen F. Austin clinched the match with straight-set victories across five courts and one win by retirement.
Aanya Rao showed early fight at No. 5 singles, splitting the first four games before having to retire.
Nikita Liyanage battled in the second set at No. 6, picking up three games before falling.
