Lorman, Miss.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced the student-athletes set to participate in the league's annual SWAC Football Media Day on Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 am CST at the Sheraton-Birmingham.

Gideon Spottsville joins second year Head Coach
Cedric Thomas to represent Alcorn State Football at SWAC Football Media Day.
Sewell earned second-team All-SWAC honors a year ago after rushing for 820 yards on 128 carries. Sewell, a redshirt-junior from Natchez, averaged 5.7 yards per carry and totaled five rushing touchdowns.
Spottsville played in 11 games registering 32 tackles with three tackles for loss. A Baton Rouge native, Spottsville is tuned to have a huge junior season and is set to lead a bigger, stronger, faster defensive unit.
All twelve SWAC head football coaches will also be in attendance to address media about the upcoming 2025 football season.
