LORMAN, Miss. — Alcorn State University athletics is excited to announce the official 2025 women's soccer schedule under the leadership of Head Coach Ken Kabiru. The upcoming season features a competitive mix of non-conference and SWAC match ups, with a strong slate of home games hosted here on campus.
The Braves kick off their season with a pre-season match on August 7 and an early away challenge against Troy University on August 17. Non-conference action includes match ups against Northwestern State, McNeese State, and Southern Methodist University just to name a few, before SWAC play begins in late September.
Alcorn will host six home games at the Vicksburg venue, including key conference battles against Grambling State (Sept. 26), Alabama A&M (Oct. 3), and Alabama State (Oct. 5). The regular season wraps up with a road trip to Mississippi Valley on October 31 before the team heads to Prairie View, TX, for the SWAC Tournament from November 5–9.
"This schedule will test us early and prepare us for a highly competitive SWAC season," said Coach Kabiru. "We're eager to build on our momentum and give
fans a great year of Lady Braves soccer."
