Alcorn State Football to Appear on Three Broadcast Networks During 2025 Season

LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State University football is set to take center stage on television, streaming platforms, and mobile devices across the nation this fall, with multiple games featured on three major networks: ESPN, HBCUGO, and SWACTV. The extensive media coverage ensures that Braves fans – and college football followers nationwide – will have consistent access to the sights and sounds of Alcorn football throughout the 2025 season.

The Braves are scheduled to appear in ten televised games, giving the program significant national exposure and reinforcing its place as a cornerstone of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). With three games listed on ESPN networks, three on HBCUGO, and four on SWACTV, this season marks one of the most broadcast-rich campaigns in recent program history.

ESPN Network Broadcasts
Alcorn State will appear in three late-season SWAC matchups on ESPN-affiliated platforms, including two rivalry games and a high-stakes road battle. The specific ESPN networks and game times will be announced in the coming weeks. These games may be distributed across ESPN+, ESPNU, or ABC/ESPN2, depending on final schedule and network availability. These matchups include:
  • Oct. 18 – at Florida A&M – 3 p.m.
  • Nov. 8 – vs. Southern – 3 p.m.
  • Nov. 22 – at Jackson State – 2:30 p.m.
HBCUGO Broadcasts
Alcorn State will also enjoy national coverage on HBCUGO, the leading streaming service committed to HBCU sports programming. The three contests on the road will air live:
  • Sept. 6 – at Alabama A&M – 7 p.m.
  • Sept. 27 – at Arkansas-Pine Bluff – 7 p.m.
  • Nov. 1 – at Texas Southern – 3 p.m. 
SWACTV Broadcasts
Alcorn State will also be prominently featured on SWACTV, the Southwestern Athletic Conference's digital platform for live streaming conference match ups. Four of the Braves' home contests will be shown, giving fans around the world the ability to experience the energy of Jack Spinks-Marino Casem Stadium:
  • Oct. 4 – vs. Prairie View A&M – 3 p.m. 
  • Oct. 11 – vs. Lincoln (Mo.) – 2 p.m.
  • Oct. 25 – vs. Mississippi Valley State – 2 p.m. 
  • Nov. 15 – vs. Grambling State – 2 p.m.

The Braves, predicted to finish second in the SWAC Western Division, kick off their broadcast slate on September 6 against Alabama A&M live on HBCUGO.
