The week begins on Thursday, Jan. 8, as the Alcorn State women's basketball team travels to Montgomery for a conference matchup against Alabama State Hornets.
Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. as the Lady Braves continue their early SWAC slate away from home. The contest marks an important opportunity for Alcorn State to gain momentum and sharpen execution as conference play intensifies.
On Friday, Jan. 9, the spotlight shifts to the track as the Alcorn State men's and women's track and field programs compete in the UAB Blazer Invitational in Birmingham.
